Una nuova patch di Overwatch è stata applicata ieri al PTR, ed è veramente massiccia. La Blizzard descrive la patch 1.41 come un "remaster" ed avvisa che il download richiesto sarà abbastanza grande su tutte le piattaforme. Nessuno dei cambiamenti sembra essere abbastanza significativo, ma 13 personaggi sono stati modificati in un modo o nell'altro, e secondo un thread su Reddit la patch sarà di 8GB.
Alcuni eroi sono stati buffati, la rigenerazione di D.Va è stata aumentata dal 12.5% al 16% al secondo, e il delay prima che la rigenerazione inizi adesso è di 0.75 secondi invece che 1 secondo, mentre altri eroi sono stati nerfati. La rigenerazione della Experimental Barrier di Sigma, per esempio, è stata tagliata da 175 per secondo a 150 per secondo e adesso ha un cooldown di 1 secondo. Roadhog ha un proiettile extra nel suo Scrap Gun, e Doomfirst richiede un pò più tempo per raggiungere la carica massima sul suo rocket punch.
E' quel mix di piccoli tweaks che, tutti insieme, hanno un impatto significativo su tutto il gioco. Come sottolineano alcuni commenti sul post di Reddit, i cambiamenti sono abbastanza vari che anche i personaggi che sono rimasti invariati, come McCree e Soldier 76, ne beneficeranno.

- Speed buff reduced from 40% to 30%

- Fixed a player profile issue preventing hero win percentages from being displayed for competitive arcade mode seasons

- Fixed a bug with Brigitte’s Rally checking line of sight from her feet instead of from her head
- Fixed a bug with Inspire’s position being affected by the player’s aim pitch
Doomfist
- Fixed a bug that allowed Doomfist to use Meteor Strike before taking impact damage from Sigma’s Gravitic Flux
Sigma
- Fixed a bug that allowed Sigma’s Gravitic Flux to ignore line of sight through some ceilings
Sombra
- Fixed a bug with EMP’s position being affected by player’s aim pitch
Winston
- Fixed a bug that caused Winston’s Barrier Projector to not consistently play its destroyed visual effects
